Planning Slough's Future: Have your say

Don’t miss this opportunity to share your views and encourage your members to have a say on the issues that will affect Slough over the next 20 years.

The Local Plan will be used to make decisions about planning applications and developments about planning applications and development projects in the future.

The consultation will look at:

  • Building new homes – sites to be used, affordability, releasing Green Belt land, changing land use
  • The economy and the town centre – the role of the town centre, getting Slough residents into higher paid and higher skilled jobs, benefiting from the Heathrow expansion plans
  • Getting around Slough – encouraging the use of alternative modes of transport, restricting traffic in town
  • Good design and environmental standards – Balancing green spaces with the necessary new housing, protecting Slough from pollution, green issues.

There will be a public consultation event at the Curve on 13 February, 7- 9pm
